"Part 1: “Domestic Violence" Please respond to the following:
· School violence is of growing concern to law enforcement and almost never occurs without warning. Examine the main motivation(s) of school violence and give your opinion as to what the schools should do to prevent school violence. Provide a rationale for your response.
· Imagine that you are the director of the training academy for the police or sheriff’s department chief in your city. Develop the first three (3) steps of a plan which you would implement to ensure the department is properly trained for the possible occurrence of a workforce violence incident in your locality.

· 5Good morning Professor,
There are several things that may cause school violence one of them being cyber bullying, bullying fights and other abuses that students may experience. Schools should create a safe and supportive enviornment for the students along with interventions programs and counseling for anger management schools should also have strong disciplinary actions for those who violate or break school rules. Moreover, schools should have current security measures in place especially at school events. Students should be searched for any weapons that they may possess. In order to help prevent school violence parents need to communicate with their children staying involved and knowing who their friends are and making sure their school work is done they should ask questions and be open with the children about school violence. Pay close attention to their children to see if there are any warning signs that something may be wrong. Parents must not be afraid to be a parent and not a friend and know when to step in and assist their child. Parents should also be aware of their childs behavior if the child is acting differently or just not themselves.
The three steps that should be implemented for workforce violence and preparing the police and sheriff are
1. Steps to make blueprints or floor plans of the premises available to law enforcement in case there should be and incident were hostages are involved.
2.Officers can work with a companies crisis response team to train staff in how to detect signs of violence and procedures for reporting it to the threat management team.
3.Provide and improve officer training in workplace violence and conflict resolution techniques
4. train chiefs and officers to handle liason with employers.
