Overview:
In today’s world, Windows and Mac rule the daily user’s digital devices. When it comes
to the mobile device field, HFS and Linux file systems are the dominant file structures
organizing your data. The digital forensic examiner needs to have a basic
understanding of these file structures to properly analyze these devices. Based on what
you have learned in this unit, write an essay demonstrating your understanding of the
following:

• Give at least two examples of digital devices associated with each file system.
• List the differences and similarities of each system.
