Critical Reading

For the purpose of critically evaluating the article, the method of graphic organizer was used. The method of graphics organizer is a way of displaying facts, ideas and concepts included in the reading with the help of visual elements. As many of the researchers say that visual learning of a person is higher hence things learned in such a way can be remembered for a long period of time. Although there are many types of graphic organizer I used the concept of mind mapping in critically reading this article. This method has been beneficial in many different ways. The complex article was well-understood with the mind mapping done. Learning got a lot better with the help of graphic organizer method. Another benefit I believed in graphic organizer was the benefit of elaborated understanding. To understand the ideas involved in the article, I used different circles around the main topic so that strategic learning gets better. Hence I figured out that strategic learning of a person can get better if the idea of the graphic organizer is used. With an increased focus and beneficial visual display, the method made the process of evaluating the article easy.

Keeping in view the benefits of graphics organizer I believe it will be a useful method for using in the future whenever critical analysis is required. However, there is one thing which I would like to change a bit about the method. This is the inclusion of some restrictions in this method. Similar mind-mapping this method should be a free process. Also, some stages should be involved in data understanding so that a confined information from critical reading is obtained.
