Critical Analysis Paper:  Assignment #2            

(due Sunday night 7-23-18 at 11:59p)

 I need you to just write one Essay (2-3 Pages) on reform and development administration based on Smoke (2003) (Case Attached) as per the instructions below

Following the guidance on page 9 of syllabus (top), write a 2-3 pages critical analysis essay of the topic of administrative development & reform-based on any of the following readings:

 1.Falleti (2005)

2.Smoke (2003)

3.Haruna (2003)

 COURSE ASSIGNMENTS

 Critical Analysis Essays/ Papers (10 pts each; 30% of grade)

 Students will write three (3) short essays (2-3pages each–but no more than 3 pages).  Each paper should be structured around the materials and discussions covered in a session of your choice. You will write one essay on the administration and politics of public administration and another essay on reform and development administration. 

The third paper will be a team analysis of global topics reviewed on Saturday 7-28-18(as an in-class writing assignment).The thesis of your papers should be clear and your arguments should be supported with citations where necessary. Select a team leader to author your essay.

 NOTE:  For the first two papers, you are also expected to cite additional academic references not listed in the syllabus. While you have some flexibility on the topic of your paper, note that it will be graded zero if it is a mere non-critical summary of the assigned readings.
