critical analysis of game-“Batman, The TellTale”Episodes 3, 4, and 5 and extra credit assignment
I have done the critical analysis 1, but I got the low grade. Please complete the second critical analysis for me. The second critical analysis need to write about the Episodes 3, 4, and 5 of the game-“Batman, The TellTale”.
All requirements are included in the PowerPoint and word doc I provided.
Here is the feedback of my first analysis, it is a bad example: “your "Lessons Learnt" section doesn't actually say anything meaningful. I recommend visiting the writing center on campus and have them help you with articulating the thoughts that you have about this game. You also don't tell me anything of real substance, in terms of what you learned by playing the game. You basically tell me that the game lacks consistency in player options and technical finish. How will this translate to your own story?”
The critical analysis will be your first step in learning how to design interactive media.
As you are playing through your chosen game, think about the points that were laid out in these slides and how they apply to not only the game you are playing, but how you will apply those to your own stories.

Hello everyone,
as we will be finishing up our Telltale games and writing about those in our second Critical Analysis. Again, the learning objective for you is to identify what you did and didn't like about the game: the narrative structure, the choices, the characters, the writing, or anything else that you noticed. I am really hoping that you can transfer those lessons to your own stories.
· For your second Critical Analysis, the biggest theme in my feedback was being specific about what lessons you learned from the Telltale game, and how you plan to integrate those lessons into your own story. For example, in The Walking Dead, Season 1, you were given a choice to save one of two characters, but in the end, they both die anyways. How does that make you feel? I know that I would feel like my choice didn't matter, and that's not a very good feeling. So, we want our readers/players to feel empowered and that their choices matter. So talk about that. Talk about how the story or the mechanics or the narrative structure (different from the actual story) made you feel.
· The other theme in your first CA: writing quality. It wasn't the worst that I've seen in this course, but it wasn't great. Simple stuff: Capitalize proper nouns. Use paragraphs. Use commas.
· When you are writing your stories in Twine, I don't get as picky about your writing style, since a story or novel can be written in the author's style. But in your CA's, those are formal pieces of writing. Use APA or MLA guidelines; these are not Instagram posts.
· For the second Critical Analysis, you can find the power point slides in this week's module. If it looks weird in your browser, just download it and open it in Power Point.
