Developing long-term searching for just the right psychiatrist can be hectic. However, with a perfect resume, it is easy to capture the attention of both your employer and clients. The above resume is well written and organized. As such it might have impacted the patients’ initial call. First and foremost specific patient characteristics might have impacted the patient’s initial call. The patient is a middle-aged woman who might have succinctly viewed me as a mental health profession with unique skills. Besides she is a middle-class citizen who possibly value services. The contact information properly placed portraying professionalism. The resume has detailed but rather succinct skills which might have triggered the patient’s initial call.
Throughout my career, I have observed that most people can tolerate a certain amount of emotional or physical discomfort before seeking help for a problem. Nevertheless, it is adamant to understand that different people have varying levels of tolerance. Eventually, an individual will seek professional help to discuss symptoms and possible interventions or treatment. For example, a person with stress who seeks help only when he/she beings having sleep problem conveys to his or her treatment provider that anxiety is the most worrisome problem. This would be the presenting problem in this case. People are so sensitive when it comes to sharing information regarding their health status. This shows the organization and content in the resume might have affected reporting symptoms and presenting problems by the patient. To some degree, the client honesty and straightforwardness show the resume is not only convincing but more importantly professional.
