Your assignment is a review of what you have learned this past semester in class.

You are an employee of one of the following three companies (choose one). Please produce the cover letter described below.

You graduated five years ago from SCSU and have been working all that time in your major field doing a variety of different functions. An opening has come up in one of the companies (above) in your field and you are very interested in getting hired for the job. Find a job that appeals to you on LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc. and pretend that is a job available at one of the above companies.

Write a one-page cover letter to convince me, the HR coordinator for one of the companies above, to call you for an interview. Think before you begin writing this. What will I be looking for in your cover letter?
