Goal:

This task provides you with the opportunity to reflect on your practice during the initial period of

the placement, review your progress against the criteria in the tool for assessing standards for

practice, and develop an action plan to support your successful completion of this work integrated

learning experience

Completed ANSAT tool and action plan

Completion with the clinical facilitator of the progressive ANSAT tool and action plan which is then

Please note: You will also receive ongoing feedback throughout your placement as a

formative and developmental process. If you are not meeting satisfactory practice standards

at any point, learning processes will be implemented to guide and support you to

satisfactorily meet each standard. Unsatisfactory behaviors which put patient/client safety

at risk or practices that do not adhere with the NMBA Registered Nurse Standards for

Practice, Code of Professional Conduct and/or Code of Ethics may result in failure of the

course and removal from placement at any time during the clinical placement. Please refer

to the clinical placement fact sheets for details.

Criteria:

• Practice behaviours as measured against NMBA Registered Nurse Standards for Practice and

as detailed in the assessment tool

• Evidence of adherence to Code of Professional Conduct and Code of Ethics criteria and

standards

• Specific goals and plan for practice inclusive of all Practice Standards
