The biomedical engineering profession is related to some valuable work activities like designing some tools and devices of biomedical. Most importantly, those engineers can make artificial organs that are very much needed. Like, replacing some parts of the body through new equipment. So, the responsibilities of one biomedical engineer is to make machines which are needed for some patients and diagnosing them with the right solvation. Like, somehow one person is injured and lost his or her leg. Now, the artificial support for the broken leg is designed and provided by one biomedical engineer who can design one needed medical equipment, know the installation and adjusting or how to maintain the artificial device that can help one with the technical support. This is interesting because this profession has the capacity to help people, and can gift them their new life. Those artificial devices or medical equipment can help them to survive their life with the support and that support is possible just for the ability of one biomedical engineer.
For pursuing the degree on biomedical engineering one need a bachelor degree. So, one can get a degree on different part or area of engineering or can try for the graduate degree in the course of biomedical engineering and then can start the training for job in biomedical engineering.
For the profession of biomedical engineering, one should choose the science course in high school that included subjects like biology, chemistry, and physics. Here one can also choose the calculus or Mathematics. If one already decided to choose biomedical engineering as their future then one can take extra classes or can take help from extra courses of mechanical drawing or computer programming which can help them to design new equipment in the future. After the high school course, it’s time for a bachelor's degree. That degree should be in engineering or biological physics or sciences. In this course, there are laboratory work, solid and fluid mechanics with circuit designing, biomaterials and some computer programming. After pursuing the degree one can join for internship in hospitals which included practical applications also.
The first interesting job designation is the biomedical technician who helps needy patients with the right diagnosing by testing and installation. Not only that, but the biomedical technicians also repair the medical equipment and sustaining safe services. In that profession, the technicians can be certified with radiology devices and laboratory or biomedical tools and equipment. One biomedical technician needs a bachelor's degree and training.
For a further course in physiology in the future, one needs to study the chemical and physic part of science. That course will include the cell and body operations, their movements the living organism. Here system physiology refers to the system biology with physiology. That profession needs a bachelor's degree in physiology. Physiology also needs mechanical knowledge as there are some medical devices which used for repairing some inner organs.
Medical engineers have the creative and analytical perception which helps them to make the designs of new organs that help one needy by its technical support. In this field, there are biochemists and biophysicists. That profession needs a bachelor's degree and then a master's degree. In fact, they can pursue further studies for Ph. D. level.
In the United States, by the past 12 months, the trend is going down for biomedical technicians, but there are possibilities of rising the trend. In North Carolina, the trend is going 100% and in Texas, it is 82%. In the US, by the past 12 months, the trend is going too down for that job interest. It reaches 39% where in Texas it reached 100% and in Oklahoma, the result is the same also. For medical engineering, the US expected to reach 100% wherein Massachusetts it already reached the highest position and in New York, it reached 79%. According to google trends, in the US, biomedical engineering reached 95% wherein Massachusetts already reached the high position and Delaware is in the same position as the US. So, for biomedical engineering, there are great chances in the US. One who has an interest in that field of Engineering needs a bachelor's degree in that course and proper training. So, one can take proper classes for each science subject and model designing extra classes. Knowledge in Computer programming is also useful for that field.
