The scenario information provided below will be used to supplement the information provided previously and as a guide for completing the project cost estimate and project budget activities assigned in Unit V. If questions arise or if you have specific questions, do not hesitate to contact the professor.

Company

Massive Solutions International (MSI) is a global company providing information technology solutions to a wide customer base.

Challenge

MSI is moving forward with their plans for implementing a new state-of-the-art data center.

Unit V Objectives

Before the creation, migration, or relocation of the new data center can begin, senior management and stakeholders will need to approve the project plan. This requires a well thought out strategy as well as a comprehensive and detailed estimate of the costs and a proposed budget to support execution of all phases of the project.

Using the information provided below, your task is to generate a project cost estimation and a proposed budget for the project.

A real data center migration is a very complex undertaking and impossible to completely model in a classroom exercise such as this, so you are encouraged to be creative and innovative in addressing the elements of these exercises. If you feel you need to include additional information or expand on any activities, you are encouraged to do so.

1. Using the material that you have generated in the previous assignments, your goal in this exercise is to generate as complete a project cost estimate as possible and to use that estimate to produce a project budget using the two templates provided.
