Introduction and Objectives

Tips: A good introduction starts broad and becomes more focused, funneling down from the background of the project to the specifics of the project objectives. It is here that you will describe your project and articulate the aim of the project (e.g., what you eventually want to achieve through your project).

Analysis of (My) Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats

Tips: Please articulate your SWOT by referring to your Do-it-yourself marketing plan worksheet. Be specific and clear!

Analysis of your focus and goal setting

Tips: promoting where you are starting and what you want your result to be can help your audience better understand you and against others.

More importantly, With a focused goal statement, there is less guessing what steps you take to reach your goals. This means your audience can hold you accountable.

Increase your trustworthiness by clearly stating your goals, personality, education and experience and others. Plus, justify what makes you different from others. As we know, difference has big implications in the market and consumers.

Analysis of your 4Ps (Price, Place, Product and Promotion)

Tips: The four P's of marketing (4 P's), otherwise known as “The Marketing Mix”, are a set of tools that help companies gain advantage within the marketplace. The 4 P's are put in place to help maximize a product's potential.

Likewise, think of potential strategies in terms of experiences, education, or/and interesting activates (product), compensation (price), promotions, and networking (place) that can increase your appeal to a hiring audience and market.

Analysis of your marketing actions and evaluations

Tips: Please be specific on your action plans including your potential internships or/and courses to take further and other activities. Be creative but also effective.

Planning certain evaluation criteria in advance is important. Many companies evaluate marketing performance include: Monitoring marketing's progress towards its annual goals. Determining what areas of the marketing mix – product, price, place, and promotion – need modification or improvement to increase some aspect of performance.

Think of how you would evaluate your action plans and how you would fix any potential limits and issues and improve your action plans.

Positioning statement of your partner

Tips: Interview and investigate the aspects of your assigned project partner offerings that are relatively distinct to the offerings of others. You did once for yourself and now you do it aging for your partner. Think of what the target audience for your partner can be, his/her defined category, key differential points, potential benefits and reasoning/justifications. The more you know, the better you can position your partner in the market.

Remember that a positioning statement is a compelling picture of how you want that market to perceive your brand. As a marketer, help your friend!
