Course Project Overview - Corporate Presentation

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Assignment You are responsible for picking a corporation and doing research on a published article referencing a legal, ethical or political issue that the corporation has been alleged or found responsible for based on the article.

In the Week 1 Discussion be sure to post the company you picked so there is no duplication.

Post a 5 minute narrated Power Point, or equivalent in the first 3 days of Week 3 Discussion explaining what company you chose and why.

Phases

Week 1 Present the Corporation Chosen and reasoning for your selection

Week 3 Present the Article chosen relating to the corporation and reasoning for your selection of that article

Week 7 Upload of your Power Point Presentation to the Course Shell

Week 8

On-site - Students presentation on their corporation in class.

In class presentation - 5 to 7 minutes on their project with power point presentation to be utilized or included with hand-ins

On-line - Students upload presentation with screen share of the powerpoint presentation on the corporation.

Online presentation - 5 to 7 minutes on their project with power point presentation to be utilized or included with hand-ins

Corporate Presentation You are to present a power point and recorded media in a 3 to 5 minute format to be uploaded for week 8 viewing in class discussing the corporation, the issue at hand and state either your support or opposition to the articles position on the corporation and if you are in agreement with the outcome.

Identify what changes or recommendations you would present to your personal business if this matter occurred to your corporate entity.

Grading Rubrics A: Every point in this section is met. B: One point is missed, but the remainder of the requirements is well met. C: More than one point is missed. D: The paper misses many of the requirements. F: The paper was turned in but does not demonstrate that much work was done. 0: Nothing was submitted or the material was in violation of school policies such as plagiarism.

Presentation is clear, concise, professional, and easy to follow along with. Slides, if used, are not busy. Use of extraneous graphics/clip art is minimal. Presentation template does not distract from information being presented. Creativity is a plus in the quality of the presentation.
