Marketing

Social platforms that the company should utilize.

There are two most popular and used social networking platforms, which can be very useful in the marketing of Costa’s Customs’ clothing and tailoring products and services. The first is LinkedIn, and it is a widely used form of the social network, with over 500 million members. LinkedIn provides an opportunity for business individuals to effectively connect with other existing business individuals and professionals (Barker, 2018). The second social networking platform is twitter, which has over 300 million active users, provides an effective place for marketing, including the implementation of marketing strategies.

Strengths and weaknesses LinkedIn, and Twitter platforms and why they are a good fit for Costa's Customs.

LinkedIn social networking platforms have strengths such as they contain relevant and essential features, which creates an opportunity to share content, hence engaging with the massive audience. LinkedIn’s disadvantage is that the LinkedIn support team has a slow reaction time (Staff, 2019). LinkedIn is a good fit for Costa’s Customs because owners want to expand their industry, by growing the online clothing sales by 50% within 6 months. Therefore, the social networking platform will provide a better intuitive for the consumers. Even though they do not have research to back it up, the platform will improve the industry’s marketing, hence keeping the consumers' loyalty and making them more likely to purchase.

Twitter is advantageous in that it is very effective in content marketing, hence, for the company’s target or getting the middle class as consumers, who will increase the productivity of the business (Icha, & Agwu, 2015). The biggest obstacle of twitter is that it is a bit difficult being noticed by other individuals including companies, but to overcome this issue, it is important to use relevant hashtags. Therefore, Twitter is effective for the retail clothing and tailoring industry; in that, it will prevent most of its weaknesses such as retail selection, timely tailoring services, and the existing marketing efforts.

Social media strategy recommended for utilizing LinkedIn and twitter

The reaching influencers is the most efficient strategy for the LinkedIn platform for the company. For instance, getting more online followers is essential for the company. The strategy will, therefore, enhance getting more trust from the influencers, including encouraging them to interact with the company more often (Icha, & Agwu, 2015). Engagement strategy, which is typically engaging more followers, will enhance maximum content sharing for the company. Diverse content marketing is appropriate for twitter, as it is very effective, when it comes to content marketing, through professional product and service descriptions in the twitter social platform, to earn more customers.

A rung from the social technographic ladder that will be targeted for LinkedIn and Twitter

In the case of LinkedIn, the most targeted in the social technographic ladder are the spectators. The spectators will include the blog readers, and video viewers, including other influencers for the company. The spectators enhance the influencers to sell the company’s products and services within the LinkedIn platform. In the cases of Twitter, the conversationalists are the most targeted in the social technographic ladder (A new Rung on the Social Technographics Ladder, 2017). The diverse content marketing strategy will enhance the marketing of products, especially through content marketing, which will provide information for the conversationalists, which will undertake discussions about the company’s products and services, hence improving the marketability of the company’s products and services.
