Coping with financial stress
Hello Everyone, first I’d like to thank the City of Laurel, Department of Economic and Community Development for having me. I know this is a stressful time with the health crisis – COVID19, job layoffs, reduction in staff, company closures, and the social injustice issues to top it all off. It’s a difficult time for all, but I want you to know that you are not in this alone.
My objective here is to:
· provide you with ways in which to manage and cope with your stress
· provide ideas on way to take control of your situation
· How to recognize the signs that you need support
· Go over some problem-solving skills and techniques that you can use during and after this time.
· Lastly, I will provide you with some resources that will assist you during this time.
