This paper will explore two main topics, (1) an overview of the five phases of consulting, and (2) the similarities and differences between the roles of internal and external consultants.  Make sure to review chapter 1 and read chapter 7 of the Block (2011) text.  

Directions:

1. First, discuss, as an overview, the five phases of consulting.  Explain the nature of these 5 consulting skills and how/when they might be used. Give examples.  Use of the Vanilla Healthcare Case study might be helpful here, though not mandatory.  

2. Second, compare and contrast (discuss the similarities and differences) between the roles of internal and external consultants. Be thorough.  

This analysis should be 4+ pages (not including the Title or Reference pages) written using Word.
