Overview

In order to better understand how and why racial/ethnic conflicts arise and conclude, you will research a non-U.S. racial/ethnic conflict (some ideas - Israel/Palestine, Rohingya/Myanmar, Yuigars/China, or Rwanda) and present a summary of that research. Create a Powerpoint (or similar presentation software) presentation describing the conflict, including maps, videos, and/or other media formats, and compare it to the U.S. context.

This assignment will require you to do research.  Only scholarly sources are allowed (peer-reviewed journals, books).  You can use Wikipedia and other such sources for you to personally gain a preliminary understanding of the conflict, but you cannot use these types of sites as a resource for this project.
