Weeks 4/ 5 - Conceptual Models/Grand Theories in the Integrative-Interactive Paradigm

· Welcome to Week Four, I hope that everyone is having a great week.

So last week everyone has had the opportunity to read and review the following:

· Chapter 7: Dorothy Johnson’s Behavioral Systems Model

· Chapter 8: Dorothea Orem’s Self-Care Deficit Nursing Theory

· Chapter 9: Imogene King’s Theory of Goal Attainment

Can anyone relate to these models? How do they align with your current nursing practice? How do they correlate with your current nursing the research problem that you want to investigate?

As we continue to progress through this section of our text. I wanted to show an example of what a conceptual model may look like when applied to a nursing problem. Please review the following link to see the associated article.
