TERM PROJECT (Due on week 14)

The Final Project is worth 10% of your grade.

COMPUTERS AND HEALTH RISKS: RSI (85 PTS).

Problem: Your assignment is to prepare a short research paper on muscular-

skeletal disorder (MSD), also called repetitive stress injury (RSI).

The requirements are that the paper should contain 5 pages of single-spaced text

and have three references. The first page is the title page, and the last (5th page) is

your work sited page where you list the references from books or the Internet.

Instructions: Perform the following tasks to create the presentation:

1. Create a title page with the course name and code, instructor name, and your

name in the middle of the page. Format it beautifully any way you like. (3 pts)

2. For the rest of the pages, do the following. (10 pts) a) Change all margin settings

to 0.7”. Adjust line spacing to single.

b) Create a header like the following: • Number pages being preceded by your last

name on the right side. If necessary, change the font size of all characters to 12

point.

• Insert the date /time to the right side too on the second line.

• Type the course code at the left side of the header.

3. First-line indent all paragraphs in the paper. (2 pts)

4. Type the body of the paper. When writing, answer the following questions:

(20pts) o What is the RSI?

 What are the symptoms?

 How it is developed?

 How computers affect the users?

 Who is affected mostly?

 How to prevent it? exercises ergonomic issues 5. Find and insert 5-7 pictures to support your point of view. (5 pts)

6. Format the second page with 2-columns and no line between. (12pts)

7. Format the third page with 3-columns and with a line between. (12 pts)

8. At the end of the body of the research paper, press the ENTER key once and

insert a manual page break. (2 pts)

9. Use couple of quotes in the text body from the sources you picked and make two

footnotes on those quotations. (10 pts)

10. Create the works cited page (the reference). Enter the works cited as separate

paragraphs; маке them bulleted with bullet symbol like this: ♦ (5 pts)

11. Check the spelling of the paper. (2 pts)

12. Count the number of words and type the number on the works sited page (2 pts
