Introduction: For the assignment you will be composing a simple melody using BandLab

Directions:

Go to  www.bandlab.com

· Create a free account

· Select “create” in the upper right corner

· Select the “instruments” icon

· From here you will see a piano keyboard.  You can record using the keyboard or choose a different instrument.

· Click the red record dot at the top and record yourself playing the piano or other instrument. 

· Once you are happy with your recording, you may save it. Please save it as .mp3 or .mp4 file

· When you are ready to submit, please submit the following:

1. Your .mp3 or .mp4 file

2. A screenshot of your melody on your device (it doesn't need to be the whole thing, just one shot.)
