Soccer is My Favorite Sport

My favorite sport is soccer, although most people say it a game or sport meant for men. It is a sport that is played all over the world and it is the most-watched and played sport on earth. Numerous people like it and I am one of the greatest fans. The reason I love soccer is that there is a lot of excitement, you can improve your skills with your feet and it’s contained a lot of exercises which are very good to keep you fit and strong. Many people say soccer is not a fun sport, but the truth of the matter is, it is the most exciting and beautiful sport ever played.

One of the important parts of playing soccer is controlling the ball, for you to have a greater chance of winning a game is getting the position of the ball most of the time than your opponent team. Soccer game comprises of throw-ins, goal kicks, corner kicks, free kicks, and penalty kicks. You get a throw-in when your opponent is the last person to touch the ball out of the vertical lines of the field and you awarded a corner kick when your opponent places the ball out of their horizontal line. Soccer has three main positions namely defense, midfield, and attack. Playing defense means you have to stop your opponent from attacking and scoring a goal against your team and also help your goalkeeper. Soccer game requires a lot of exercises and running, if you get tired your opponent can easily take advantage of you and outplayed you.

When playing midfield position, running a lot is the main idea, because these positions require you to attack your opponent and also defend your team, these means you should be running most of the time. Playing attack requires skills and pace, to score a goal, you have to break into your opponent defense and outsmart their defenders and goalkeeper.

Playing soccer games is something I enjoy and feel exciting about, most of all watching cocker games especially when my team is playing the European Champion League. Real Madrid is my girlhood team. I started supporting Real Madrid when I was nine (9) years old, I still remember the day when my father first took me to the cinema to watch Real Madrid against their rival Barcelona, the game was so intense and full of excitement. At that time my favorite player was Ronaldo and he scored twice for Real Madrid, I was so happy when he scored, I jumped and hug my father with joy, at the end of the match we won two goals to one. Now when Real Madrid is playing is like a holiday for me.

I have observed that most of the parents in the United States don’t like their girl child playing soccer. I encourage them to join them for soccer practice. Soccer plays a great role in building the human body and staying fit, strong, and healthy. It is also a profession that gives a lot of money and social exposure. I hope this essay will encourage parents and guardians to take their children to play soccer because it is fun and amazing.

Re: Purchase of Incorrect Lenovo M8 Tablet

Dear Mr. Jones,

On August 10, 2020, I bought a Lenovo M8 tablet with Serial Number: 1234565 at your Hardware and Technology Store in Pennsylvania for my daughter to take online classes during this Pandemic.

According to the specifications on the device that you showed me at your store, it is supposed to be 8GB RAM (random access memory), 64GB ROM (reads only memory), and 8.0 Android version. To my surprise, when I powered the tablet and try to install an application that was recommended to use for my daughter's online classes, there was an error message which says “The app cannot be installed because the android version is to low”. Secondly, I tried to transfer my daughter course materials from my hard disk drive to the tablet of size 72GB, and error also occurred which says “There is no enough space available”. I then Google the error message and read blow which says that I should check the device setting to see the specifications on the tablet, just to find out that there is 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM and Android version of 6.0. I was so dissatisfied because the specifications I asked for and the one that is written on the box was wrongfully given to me.

I would appreciate it if we settle this issue by either replacing the device with the appropriate specifications I seek or refund my purchase because my daughter has to start classes online in a week.
