For Technology in Classroom

Technology tends to have a significant impact on modern society because most of the activities such as communication, health care, education among other social aspects depend on technology. In the educational sector, technology has enabled individuals to be in a position to attain quality education from their remote location or from the comfort of their homes. Some students believe that use of technology in face to face courses is not beneficial because of distracted classroom surroundings, and cheating. It is actually benefit for students to use technology daily. Generally, technology often plays a critical role in facilitating learning through the establishment of learning approaches such as it benefits allows student to stay in touch with professors, self-directed learning as well as the collaborative learning.

“Use of technology in education is of great importance for both realization of effective learning- teaching processes and raising individuals possessing competences necessary for being a member of the 21st century society”. Utilization of technology in a face to face college course is good because it enables the learners to effectively understand the course in more in-depth. Additionally, research shows that students who are more involved in technology use tend to be in a position to satisfy or address their educational needs, thus using technology in a face to face college would be an ineffective approach to promote education among the college students.

Another major talk about self- directed learning needs 2 evidence. reason as to why using technology in face to face college courses is good is due to the ability of technology to improve the student’s motivation to learn and acquire new knowledge. Due to the current generation of students being successful to technology advancement the use of technology in the classroom may be an effective opportunity to motivate the students to engage more in the classroom learning activities. The use of technology in the classroom will continue to have a significant impact on the students’ academic achievement as well as improve the educational practicum.

Talk about collaborative learning. The integration of authentic learning materials, as well as the engagement of students, is another key advantage of using technology in a face to face college course. In their research, the authors were able to determine that with the encouragement of technology use, the students were in a position to attain an in-depth understanding on their learning practices, hence enabling them to be more engaged in their studies. With the aid of the internet usage in class, he or she will have an ample time to find the meaning of the various vocabularies used by the teacher or instructor hence being able to remain engaged in the learning practice. Also, through the use of technology in class is essential because the teacher may use it as a platform of distributing the required learning material to his or her student before, during or after the lesson.
