Transformational Theory

Transformational leadership enables a leader to transform the followers when he or she effectively perform their roles, allowing the followers to gain trust, confidence, and loyalty

It fosters creativity and innovation among followers, facilitates organizational change, and also establishes motivation and satisfaction (Elliott & Asghar, 2014)

The leadership theory is not universally applicable. It depends on the cultural context and also negatively impacts individual creativity

I can set clear and consistent goals, encourage my followers, and even lead through influence and charisma

I often use transformational leadership theory to gain the respect of others.

The theory allows for open communication between members, leaders, and staff.

Situational theory

A leader adjusts to his or her leadership styles to suit the existing workplace situations

.

A significant strength of the theory is that it allows the leaders to learn flexibility. It also creates a comfortable environment for workers.

Situational leadership typically focuses on immediate goals and not on the long-term needs of the organization.

Situational leadership style has effectively enabled me to place followers into a workflow where they can accomplish the best (Masur, 2018)

It is necessary to conduct a task analysis to be guaranteed that all the events are accounted for. It is possible to develop team motivation whenever the team members feel successful. Notably, the situational theory allows for change and flexibility.

Path-Goal theory

The path-goal leadership is a style that involves guiding employees in clearing a way forward for the followers.

A leader's behavior is consistent with employee satisfaction and leads to improved performance and motivation.

The theory is undemocratic; it may fail if there is so much dependence, and if a leader has flaws (Malik, Aziz, & Hassan, 2014).

While in an effort of clearly of sharing the vision of an organization, I often have to consider team members at individual levels

Communication is essential in enhancing the success of this theory. Teams grow stronger because they clearly understand the vision. Motivation is improved among team members.
