Such a huge country as the United States of America should be properly managed, so politics plays quite an influential role in both historical and modern American societies. Without any doubt, it is important to understand that everything around us changes with rapid speed, and modern American political playground is quite different from US political playground years ago.

The main differences between modern and historical political playground are the importance of modern political self-determination among politicians. Nowadays every successful politician should be either a representative of Democratic or Republican parties and independent politicians are unknown and are not able to realize their political potential as independent candidates. Years ago, there was no such strict separation of political mind and philosophies, and multiple political parties were present in both federal and regional politics. Without any doubt, both historical and modern approaches have multiple pros and cons. Talking about the modern bi-partial political system of the US, it is important to understand that both parties are a major organization that could easily gain enough support for every political innovation and bill. Such power allows to present and adopt initiatives that could be really useful for the entire American nation. In opposition, a bi-partial system forces politicians to limit their political mind in a framework of exact party. For example, a separation of political parties that were present years ago allowed politicians to find a party that really represents their political mind, views, and beliefs. At the same time, a higher number of parties limited their political power on American society, and a lot of confrontation aroused between political parties.

Without any doubt, it is important to understand that everything around us changes with rapid speed, and modern American political playground is quite different from US political playground years ago. Historically, there were multiple numbers of political parties, that represented different ideas, and worldviews. The situation changed, and nowadays US has only two parties that dominate and rules in American society.
