The company I selected is Integrity Pro consulting. They are a consulting firm specializing in digital transformation and cloud services. Mainly operating in the federal government space IPC helps build strategic road maps for enterprise technology transformations. IPC implements service now solutions as fundamental building blocks in these transformation service now is used as the enterprise platform with which many technologies can integrate to provide seamless experience.
Since IPC deals with the mainly with federal government clients it is critical for the company to remain compliant with government regulations. A recent problem that the organization encountered was a performance audit. This audit consisted of deliverables, hours worked, and tasks completed. IPC as a company had to provide a response that detailed one full years’ worth of contract deliverables. The problem was although IPC delivered great and met all contract requirements a detailed log was not maintained for every task that was completed. The organization had to invest significant time and resources to review and compose a satisfactory response to this request.
Post closure of the audit IPC began an internal review to investigate how to prevent this problem in the future. Leadership determined three remedies to prevent this problem from occurring in the future. The first remedy is to implement a total time reporting policy in which every employee must accurately record time on their time sheets daily. This would allow for accurate time reporting and ease of consolidation of all employee time. The second remedy is to compile a weekly status report for every contract. This status report would contain all meetings attended by resources, key tasks completes by resources, and all potential risks on the project. This would help provide a general summary of all contribution under each project in a single location. The final remedy is to perform a quarterly review on contracts, deliverables and time reporting.
