Foodmart is the business that I plan to establish in the future. The main reason behind my decision to venture into the hotel industry is that once the business has established itself and earned a position in the market, there is a guarantee of sales due to the high number of customers. People have to eat daily, and this means consistent customers. The business will not just offer ready food to customers but also raw food for those who want to cook in their homes.

Foodmart will be a sole proprietorship that will be owned by me. As the sole owner of the business, I will be in charge of the daily management of the operations. I selected sole proprietorship as an effective business structure because it allows me to be in direct control of all activities that happen within the business. I am the sole manager in the business, and this means that all employees report to me.

The business will have 11 employees who will conduct different activities within the business. The employees will consist of three chefs who will be in charge of preparing delicacies according to orders placed by customers. Two of the employees will be available to make deliveries to customers who prefer their food delivered to their homes. The business will also have two waitresses and one waiter whose main duty will be to serve customers who take their food from within the premises. The business will also have a cashier who will be in charge of receiving payment and issuing receipts. I will also hire two cleaners; one will be in charge of cleaning utensils and the other will conduct general cleaning of the entire premise after working hours. The business will be open for 10 hours during weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm and 8 hours on weekends from 8 am to 3 pm.
