Computer Assignment 1 Charts and Graphs using EXCEL
|
(1) Refer to the “Instructions for Computer Assignment 1.” These pages contain stepwise instructions on how to construct charts and graphs using EXCEL.
(2) The data file:
Charts and Graphs.xlsx
contains all the data you will need to do the charts and graphs. This data file is available as an Excel File within your assignment on the course website entitled “Data File for Assignment 1.”
Assignment:
(1) Follow the instructions in the file “Instructions for Computer Assignment 1” and reproduce all the charts and graphs.
(2) You do not need to create data files. All the data are available in the file: Charts and Graphs.xlsx which is available on the course website. Click the link,
“Data File for Computer Assignment 1”
and download the data file.
(3) As you create the graph in EXCEL, copy and paste the graph to a word file. This way you can fit several graphs on one page. At the end you will have one file to print. Note that there are 12 or 13 graphs you will be creating. In some cases you will be creating more than one graph for the same data.
(4) Turn-in all the charts and graphs in the class (no e-mail attachments). Include a cover sheet with your name, day, and time of your class.
