My audience includes the managers at all levels and the departmental heads of all the departments who interact with the employees during their day to day operations. 1. Among the audience, they vary from their various work and departments that they work in. The audience ranges from supervisors to managers and all head of departments. This includes people working both internally and externally. What is your relationship with the audience? What information do they have? As the person heading the department of communication, I have a responsibility o overseeing communication effectiveness in the organization. However, there has been a communication breakdown in the recent past that is costing the organization, crucial clients, due to lack of proper coordination. What background knowledge and expertise does the audience have? Every employee is taken through basic communication lessons once they have been employed in this company. This, therefore, means that every person who is in this meeting has a basic knowledge of what communication is and what is required of them.

What does the audience know, feel about, and expect concerning this communication? They are well aware of the importance of communication, and they all agree that something has been wrong with the communication system, and there is a need for addressing this before it is too late. What preconceptions or biases do you possess that might prevent you from building rapport with your audience? I do not have any biases or preconception regarding any of the team members. This is especially true because the organization has done a lot in ensuring that communication is credible that we have regular meetings addressing the same. This has therefore made it easier passing the message through every time this happens. What information is available about your audience? 1. A casual setting will help the audience to feel relaxed and be open to addressing the matter Is the communication personal or impersonal? The communication will be on a personal level, but it will be professional. This will help in getting the ground with the audience Key message What is the primary message you must convey to the audience The critical message is improving communication skills and amending the broken communication between the executive and the employees. 1. Is the message compelling and memorable? This message is compelling, and it is also memorable the audience will leave the meeting knowing what the things that are required o them to be able to communicate with one another effectively are. Is the message clear and concise?

The message is lucid and relevant to every department irrespective of their roles. Is the message aligned with your audienceʼs goals and needs? This message is in line with the objectives of the company and the interest of the well- meaning employees.
