Communication is also a three- way process that includes; the sender, which can be internal and external climate. The message, which includes written, verbal and nonverbal communication. Remember to keep it focused on obtaining the intended audience's attention, as well as being direct and informative to get your message across.

Healthcare professionals must at all times protect patient information, while practicing patient care efficiently . As nurses, it is vital that patient confidentiality remains intact while providing safe and effective patient care. Integrating Leadership and Management in Communication
In health care, communication is critical in providing safe, effective, and quality care for patients.
It is important to know who to communicate too, what should be communicated, and when.
Practice and repetition is key to improve effective communication skills
Interpersonal communication is more reflective of the leadership role
Briana
It is vital for a manager to know how select the most appropriate mode of communication for a message because it is important for them to determine who to communicate too, what should be communicated and when the messages should be sent. Because communication is a learned skill, a manager can improve their written and verbal communication with practice and repetition. Interpersonal communication skills are more reflective of the leadership role. When a nurse leader is perceptive and sensitive to their environment, they have a keen understanding of how the unit is running and can intervene whenever a problem occurs.
