Informative Speech
COM 102 Informative Speech
The goal of an informative speech is to communicate knowledge and understanding about a process, an event, a place or person, an object, or a concept.
Chapter 9 discusses organization and support, so be sure to review Chapter 9.
Topic: Online Learning vs. In-peron Learning. Remember, in an informative speech, you are informing us/ teaching us about something, so be sure you are passionate about the topic of choice. Keep in mind, you are not trying to persuade your audience.
Requirements:
● You must physically state at least two credible sources in your speech (also include both sources in your bibliography of your formal outline, must be in APA style).
● Formal outline & speaking outline
● Note: Speaking outline is simply a condensed (keyword only) version of your formal outline.
● Must include an introduction, 3 body-paragraphs, and a conclusion.
