The research methodology I used to gain information was in way of a written Surveys. I completed the surveys face to face with selected individual that would best be able to answer the survey questions needed to help determine and identify communication challenges within the organization. The selection of the 20 respondents all came from one organization with in one department of the organizations. The response rate of the surveys was 48 hours.

In the survey administered there were four different focus areas; Receiving Information from Others, Sending Information to Others, Sources of Information, Timeliness, and Channels of Information. The results from the survey are shown in the figure below:

By reviewing and analyzing the information gathered from the survey I was able to see what focused area scored the lowest points. I completed this by looking at the lowest scored question from each focus area to determine the area of focus for each section.

Receiving Information from Others:
