According to the Colten Boushie case, there is a lot of individuals' colonialism based on the law where some people are treated better than others. This is observed in the court done by the law enforcers where one person is discriminated against. Colten Boushie was murdered by a person who, when taken to court, the caser was rather satisfied that being dealt with without necessarily taking all the considerations. This kind of discrimination by the justice system where Colten was not offered the required justice raised so many questions. This shows how the colonial practices are being promoted in some countries where people are being discriminated against on their race and the skin court.
The police should have taken the needed evidence to court to help in dealing with the violation, thus getting justice. It's noted that the relationship between the indigenous and non-indigenous people is very questionable, and there is a lot of discrimination. This makes it hard for the settlements to be able to implement ethical justice in systems. The security individuals should be ready to protect every person's right, for which, for Colton, they didn't observe. Measures can be put to minimize the cases that are observed of discrimination f the indigenous at any foreign country, such as by hiring undercover individuals who will there should ebb created awareness of the women rights and their violations such as the sexual abuse and harassment. Also, there can be developed the ban on strip searches that normally hopes to the indigenous women. also there can be established civilians who will carry out undercover oversight of the police, thus protecting cases of sexual assault by them and the legislature at large for a favor to be done on the indigenous residents.
In conclusion, colonialism is still prevailing because it depends on the analysis of the cases presented to those who are said to have been assaulted in courts. This kind of issue needs to be addressed at large, and people be made aware that the ones they are treating wrongly are also human beings. Also, there is a need for much more law to be implemented so that the individuals who have been found practicing it be heavily punished according to the various policies created.
