Hi,

BBVA has used analytics tool to apply text mining. By enabling the results for BBVA will attract more customers. This type of mining is used for obtain valuable information from documents social media. It helps to analyzing customers in form of email. In this way the issue provides for better products. The challenges faced by the organizations was bank has filter bad mail make necessary changes, BBVA used certain techniques provided by text mining and social media to deal with challenge.Automatic comment issue prioritization techniques provided which puts BBVA to differentiate between positive and negative feedback thus helping the organization to identify the negative replies make necessary changes.

Hi madhuri,

Good post on BBVA. I agree with your statements the BBVA content mining to investigation for organization existing state about Internet based.I would like to add few more points on how to overcome the challenges through mining. The IBM media research COBRA they were able to sort the data based in country author and other categories. After filtering they can focus on main data whether is is neutral. This gave they opportunity to build a process for customer response. There are better ways of online reputation well informed the risk factors and effective process to over come the good relationship with customers.

How BBVA uses text mining.

Text mining entails the process where the insights are derived from the text, it uses the collection of resources to gain new information by the use of special computer software. It helps to convert text into data for the purposes of analysis using the analytic methods and the natural language of processing. The case of BBVA shows us that BBVA uses text mining so as to help to monitor the online reputation (Wamba, Akter, Kang, Bhattacharya & Upal, 2016). BBVA came up with the consumer insight solutions that have been automated and then measure the impact of brand perception online.

The bank has been able to use IBM social media assets in research which is known as corporate brand reputation analysis (COBRA) and thereafter it came up with the IBM Cognos consumer insights that help to unify the branches all across the globe. The system has been useful in helping the bank to be able to monitor the voices of potential consumers through the use of social media as well as other social media platforms and detect possible reputation risks.

The BBVA’s challenges and how it overcame them through text mining and social media analysis.

The following are the challenges that were encountered in BBVA.

BBVA has been able to curb these issues through deploying a single tool that has enabled the bank to analyze the mention of BBVA online as well as monitor the brand perception over the different communities in the online platform. The tools are used to categorize the data on the online platform and hence the bank has been able to focus on the specific news and then comment on the relevant areas that need to be improved in its decision making so that to make the online reputation stronger. The bank has been able to enable a more detailed structure and controlled the analysis of data online through unification of the online measuring of the strategies of the bank.

BBVA can use text mining in saving time on some of the tasks that they have. The BBVA was implemented and has a system that is capable of having some setting of the internal protocols which enables it to know how to deal with a certain situation. The BBVA can also use text mining so as to help to monitor the online reputation.
