Formal Response #2 (SPJ Code of Ethics)

INSTRUCTIONS: please open a Word document and respond to following questions in MLA essay format (that means double-spaced and in Times New Roman 12-point font) and use 400-450 words. Save your document and then attach it below. 

A quality response will mostly consist of your ideas, but will also have some information, such as details and quotes from the podcast, sprinkled throughout.  Do not use sources other than the podcast and the website listed below.

Choose one of the tenets (rules, basically) that journalists are to which journalists are charged with adhering. Those four are "seek truth and report it," "minimize harm," "act independently," and "be accountable and transparent." Then, discuss how Sarah (and/or her producer, Dana) goes about adhering to that particular tenet. In addition, you can discuss the challenges she faces in adhering to the tenet. Be as specific as possible with your evidence, and prove that you have listened past episode three by  not speaking at length about Mr. S. Let's assume you have him covered! 

WORKS CITED. Please produce a Works Cited page for this assignment, using the example in the "General Instructions" as a model. You'll see in the example that I've used the "Leakin Park" episode. You will need to cite the specific episode that you use, and if you use more than one, you'll do more than one entry (they will look very similar).
