Code of Ethics Intake Packet

Hospital Ethical Values

In any industry or the area of the working, Reputation is very important for the success or failure of the a business. In the same way, the reputation for the hospital is also very important. as the people have heard a lot about the bad reputation of the Three Mountains. To have a good start, The hospital is required to take new patients in confidence. And the only way to do is to It is necessary to speak about the ethics that Three Mountains Regional Hospital will follow. For this reason, the patient’s packet needs to be modified by identifying the ethical values of the hospital towards their patients. The following ethical values make up our Code of Ethics: should be added in the patient’s packet . Comment by Rita Kane: Each ethical code should contain a heading and detailed explanation. The formatting from your Power Point is good, and it contains more detail, for example. Just be sure you have the required ten (10) ethical codes.

1. Physician’s Activities: In respect to the physician’s activities, the hospital will respect the decision-making capacity of the patient, allowing the patient to choose the mode of treatment (Brabers, Rademakers, Peter, Dijk, & Jong, 2017).

2. Beneficence: To maintain a good relationship with the patient, the hospital avoids the causation of the possible harm to the patient.

3. Patient Relations: The dignity and respect are also served to the patients in the hospital, to ensure a better relationship (Chipidza, Wallwork, & Stern, 2015).

4. Conflict of Interests: No conflict of interest can arise in the hospital activities, as the hospital has the objective to provide the benefits to the patient against the cost.

5. Privacy: The privacy at the hospital is ensured through confidential patient care.

6. The systems of the hospitals are completely secure through the passwords and biometric identification, through which the data security will be insured. Comment by Rita Kane: Finish providing headings/titles for each code of ethical conduct, as I have showed you for example in 1-5.

7. Careful hiring practices are considered for the human workforce in the hospital, no political point is considered in the hiring process.

8. The good governance and encouraging working the environment have ensured a better patient relationship Comment by Rita Kane: This is incoherent. And if it goes to “patient relations” then include it in number 3 and add a new Code to meet the minimum requirement of ten (10).

9. The staff of the hospital is highly trained which ensures the best practices at the workplace.

10. The hospital staff is committed to providing high-quality services.

Sheena,

This is a good start, but there are many areas which require correction. Grammar, spelling, and punctuation need editing. Your formatting for the Code of Ethics (Word) document lacks organization and detail. The formatting and detail is better in your Power Point Presentation, but even it is deficient because it only provides five (5) ethical codes instead of the required ten (10). You also did not provide a video.

Please read the instructions AND grading rubic more carefully. This assignment is incomplete. You will need the written Code of Ethics to satisfactorily complete Deliverable 7. Please reach out to Heather if you have questions. I look forward to your re-submission.
