Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival

The cultural event I would like to attend is the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. This is a big annual music festival which brings persons from all over the globe, and the world's top musicians of various genres unit for seven days to celebrate music. This festival mostly occurs in the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Honestly am planning to attend this festival from Friday 9th April to Sunday 18th April 2021.

This festival activity differs from my own experience, there are many performing stages, such as Gobi, Mojave, Sahara, Yuma, Sonora, and many more. In addition to hosting live music, this festival exhibits visual arts, for example, sculptures and installation arts. Also, the event showcases a giant moving art installation like snails and caterpillars that metamorphosizes into butterflies. The events promote the art of recycling bins where artists from various parts of the world design the bins. Finally, the festival has a camping ground as well as recreational car camping spots.

The challenge I foresee completing this project is the emergence of violence due to the large crowd of people hence the high probability of fight. Also, the organizers might increase ticket prices and lack of camping tents due to the high number of attendees. Furthermore, the weather is also a challenge, particularly rain, which might disrupt the artists' performance. I am looking forward to making new friends through social interactions and meet popular artists across the world. Therefore camping will allow me to interact with strangers.

Besides, I am looking forward to discovering new music such as electronic music since I will have seven days to meet new musicians. Finally, I will also learn new ways to better myself because of interacting with various brands who sponsor the event since I am always passionate about being an event organizer. I have reviewed the resources and practice through personal capture to develop a PowerPoint presentation.
