Group counseling – one paragraph each

1. How might your own disclosures in a group you are leading differ at the working stage from your disclosures at earlier phases? What relationship do you see between your willingness to be open and your members’ self-disclosing behavior? How can you determine when your disclosures are useful to others in the group?

2. If a group becomes cohesive and the end of the group is in sight, how might you intervene to facilitate dealing with feelings of separation? How might your own feelings about separation and endings influence your ability to help members explore their feelings?
