CMGTCB/555: Systems Analysis and Development Course Information Description This course focuses on the managerial level of knowledge and terminology for telecommunications and computer networks. This course covers the concepts and application of the Internet, server and storage architectures, and regulatory considerations.

Competency 1 – Explore phases of the SDLC

Learning Objective 1 – Compare and contrast Waterfall and Agile SDLCs.

Learning Objective 2 – Evaluate business requirements to design a new information system.

Competency 1 – Competency Assessment

You will define project requirements and apply them either to a Waterfall or Agile SDLC. As part of the project, you’ll also create a multimedia-rich presentation that identifies and explains the proposed design of a new customer relationship management (CRM) tool.

Competency 2 – Distinguish when to use Waterfall or Agile within SDLC to build the system

You will apply proper methodologies in analyzing a new software application and then develop a change management plan to adopt the new software application. You’ll also create a client- facing, multimedia-rich presentation outlining and analyzing the future impact of the new software application on a fictional company.
