Work breakdown structure in project administration and systems manufacturing is a deliverable-oriented analysis of a scheme into smaller apparatuses. In my project, there are some things which I needed to change to make it complete and make me feel to have done it correctly. Work breakdown structure has some activities which I left out and later come to note that they were supposed to be in the composition in a specific manner. In the initiation stage where there is the project charter, I need to make a few changes. Before submitting the project charter, it needs to be undoubtedly scrutinized by the bride, groom, their parents and some of the members to ensure it meets specific set standards. Project team members need to be vetted thoroughly before being allowed to partake in the project by members of a selected committee (Burke, 2013).
In the section on the project plan and proposal is where the budget lies and there is a lot which I also need to alter. I need to change the date for fundraising for the set date I feel it will have few people in attendance since it’s during the exam time and most people will be occupied with revisions hence won’t attend. I need to change on the reservation time set for both venue and date before we confirm how many guests will be in attendance before we book expensive places where only a few people will attend or schedule smaller space and most people visit.
On venue checking, I will have to postpone the date set before confirmation of the number of guests to attend. After getting and knowing the exact venue, the decoration will have to be done some days earlier so that in case of anything being less or late, adjustments will be made (Hillson, 2003). I will postpone the date for buying refreshments and food to be eaten on that day for I feel we might purchase excess food than its required hence go into waste or even buy less which will be insufficient for the visitors.
