In the article “The created relationship:  Transference, countertransference and therapeutic culture,” Saari(1986) states that “each treatment relationship is a unique construction created together by a particular client and a particular therapist” (p. 47).    

Please reflect on the ways in which Saari’s conceptualization of transference and countertransference connects with your work with clients (past, present or potential) or how it enhances your awareness of yourself as a practitioner.
