CLC- Diagnostic Readiness Presentation

This is a Collaborative Learning Community (CLC) assignment.

As a CLC team, create a 10-12 slide PowerPoint presentation (not including title and references slides) that addresses a patient scenario related to the assigned DRT topic. Prepare your presentation by addressing the following:

1. Provide a description of the topic.

2. Describe a patient scenario related to the topic.

3. Describe the incidence of diseases related to the patient scenario.

4. Discuss predisposing factors or risk factors associated with the patient scenario.

5. List subjective complaints consistent with the patient scenario.

6. Provide a detailed physical exam of the patient.

7. Discuss diagnostic tests that should be performed for the workup keeping in mind cost-effective care.

8. Provide three differential diagnosis.

9. Describe the management of the patient.

10. Discuss necessary consults, referrals and follow-up suggestions for the patient.

11. Discuss geriatric, legal or ethical considerations for the scenario.

150-300 words for speaker notes for each slide, don’t repeat same info for notes what is in slides already.
