PEERS POST:
I will use positive guidance in my spin to add to the classroom rules. Positive guidance is something that I have witnessed firsthand that helps the child participate in whatever you're trying to catch the child's eye for.
A few rules I would add is
· walking feet
· Gentle touches.
I have chosen to add these two things to the children's room because we want the kids to have gentle touches. Every child doesn't want to be or end up hurt. To stop all of that we will make a rule for everyone to be aware of and add it to the rules. I also want to add walking feet, I'm adding walking feet because it's not safe in class and someone cab get hurt. I would want every child aware of this because we don't have time out here just a cozy corner to cool off in. To get children used to these new rules I would add some type of play or skit to demonstrate in front of the children and see what they want to do in case anything happens. We will play charades to figure out if a child has already processed it and can tell us what is being demonstrated.
