Class Project---I AM WOMAN HEAR ME ROAR! (or, strong women in history)

100 points total

For this project, you will be asked to pick, research, and present on one woman (living or deceased) who your group feels is a strong rolemodel. You may choose any woman, from anywhere, and any time period.

Project Requirements:

1. Short essay (1-2 FULL pages) providing historical context, biograph, and why you think this woman is a role model 40 Points

2. Presentation (3-5 minutes) explaining what your essay states, but in power point format 50 points

3. Reflection (Journal entry, ½ to 1 page) addressing how the group project experience went for you 10 points

Odds and Ends:

1. YOU WILL BE GIVEN AMPLE CLASS TIME TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT

2. Please do not present on an author we are reading for class

3. GROUP PRESENTATION DATE: MAY 3RD

4. Make sure you cite ALL your sources in your essay. Failure to do so will result in a 0 for the assignment
