Respond to both post below, be sure to elaborate. Word count is up to you. For example, if you write that you also found a specific topic interesting, explain what about that topic you found interesting and why. Is it the same aspects of the topic that your classmate found interesting? If you notice a classmate is struggling with something that you can help with, use your responses as a way to support them. Helping out your classmates will not only benefit them, but it will also help to solidify your own knowledge.

1. After reading the course syllabus for this class I had fears that I would be a little bit more challenging from my last course. After completing the reading material I discovered that this course is very familiar from my last course that I just completed Monday. Reading through the text this week I noticed that it covers a lot of critical thinking information which I covered a lot in my PHI 103 course which I plan on apply the knowledge that I learned to this course. I also noticed that a lot of the information in the text discusses find information online such as sites like google. Google is best friend especially when it comes to me researching information for work. I also notice throughout module one when it referenced information literacy I noticed how critical thinking goes hand and hand with conduct research not only with school but work as well. After taking my last course I have applied a lot of what I learned in my daily routine and from reading this week material I noticed that learning more about information literacy will help me in the long run within my career field by increasing my knowledge on how to better research information and analyze credible information accurately.

2. I barely went to high school, I graduated but did not go to most of my courses throughout 9th to 12th grade.  Many of the things that most people already know, I don't, so I have to play a lot of catch-up.  Turns out I really enjoy learning and school.  Quite a surprise for me.  What I have struggled with are the basics, the material being presented to me I grasp quickly, but I have to research the basics, to have a good foundation in the college education that I am getting.  I usually use Google to learn how to pronounce the words I do not know and to learn the meanings of all the words I am unfamiliar with.  Thinking in search terms is something I still need work on, I went to Google and looked up keywords, there are a lot of sites that will help you pick search queries, and how to narrow down your research to only queries that apply.

I will use the information I am learning in this course, and the previous courses I have taken in my daily personal life, and in my professional life.  Using analysis, evaluation, and interpretation I will be able to improve the quality of the work I do at PACTS International, a human rights organization.  The amount of data we have to deal with is easily information overload.  Applying the skills and techniques of problem solving, evaluating, brainstorming, and applying the best solution, will benefit my human rights work greatly.  The data and information we must sort through to get past the propaganda, and flat out lies that the government convinces people of, has almost been an insurmountable obstacle.  With the skills and lists I have made in my notes of step by step processes, my work is already greatly improving..
