Counseling 24 Time Management Skills -Learn and develop good time management skills Time management is key to success. Not only do you learn about college resources provided but

you really learn skills to become a better student. Being a successful isn't typically by grades,

although that is important. It is about learning new skills, one of the most important one was time

management. We were provided great websites and sources to get a better understanding of time

management. Good time management doesn't always have to be with school, you can apply it to

everyday life.

Career Exploration- Explore different majors and career paths

When this class started I came in not knowing anything about career paths and different majors,

we had a very fun career exploration project. In that project we got to explore different majors

and what careers you can be in. I learned more about careers and found one that gave me interest.

I really liked doing the self assessment to find out what types of jobs best fitted me. It made

doing a project actually fun & was something I really enjoyed Learning Styles -Finding your learning style is important, Everyone has different ways of learning.

From this class I learned that I was a visual learner. Visual learners learn from looking at

pictures. Things that help me learn are watching videos, looking at maps, charts, diagrams,

studying with flashcards.
