The melting theory in this poem suggest that different people of different races with different cultures, traditions and beliefs, merging into one by accepting and respecting others beliefs. This is highly experienced in the U S which is a country of immigrants who come from different parts of the world and do not fail to bring and share with others their cultures which makes America great in diversity and strong.

The truth and Beauty are suggested by the poet to be very similar hence he raises arguments to prove the point. they are like art which have meanings far above which could be percieved from the surface and they can be felt. some things are better felt than said and not everything needs to be said.
