As you will see during this class, I am always looking for ways to integrate the MBA curriculum to enhance my high school students experience. In addition to teaching the multiple courses, I also run our Internship program. I have designed the experience around the employability skills from the Career Readiness Rubric established from SuccessBound. It would be interesting to have the students create an organizational structure graphic and how projects flow between them or at least how the projects they are apart of flow within that organizational structure.
In addition, I will be more pointed about the selection criteria. I already incorporate the payback model but I think it would be wise to expose our students to other criteria models such as the checklist or weighted scoring. As a teacher who has been away from working in a business for over 10 years, I am always looking for reinforcement that I am still teaching relevant information. I am also looking for more suggestions that others think are important for the youth to experience. I am open to suggestions.
