Peer Reviews of Classical Argument Position Paper

You will be assigned to conduct a peer review on  two of your classmates' papers. You must complete the two peer reviews by the end of this module week.

Review the  Peer Review tab on the  Classical Argument Position Paper Assignment Instructions  located in the Course-Specific Information section. 

To help you critique your classmates' drafts, please review that they have done all of the following:

1. Written a classical argument position paper of 750-850 words.

2. Included a title page, headers, and page numbers in correct APA format.

3. Cited at least four different sources in the paper.

4. Used the following organization for the paper:

· Got the reader's attention by means of an interesting, engaging introduction.

· Given the necessary background information so the reader understands the issue.

· Clearly stated the position.

· Provided a forecast of the main points in the paper.

· Clearly stated the reasons that support the position and supported each reason with appropriate and sufficient evidence.

· Summarized one major objection and effectively responded to it.

· Provided a strong conclusion that summarized the argument, calls for action and/or leaves a powerful impression.

5. Used appropriate APA style documentation for in-text citations and a separate references list at the end of the paper.
