Classmate 1:

The dynamic nature of civilization means that certain parts of the code of ethics that were fully applicable in previous generations are no longer applicable. Although space limits us to 10 issues, what we are considering here is based on five main categories of special interest to technicians. Information security of society preventing the negative consequences of using information technology, many of which pose a serious threat to man, society, and the state. (Tsyrendorzhieva , 2014)  The information, knowledge, and skills we develop in the process of working on projects are inextricably linked. To create a new system, you and your team need to receive advanced technical training on the new technology products you use. The new system you are building is completely revolutionary in design and implementation.

Ethics is a method of navigating new moral waters. A code of ethics describes a set of behaviors that are acceptable to a professional or social group; Generally, this is agreed with all members of the group. The document describes various actions that are deemed appropriate and inappropriate. Information systems have had an impact beyond business. New technologies are creating new conditions that we have never seen before. New technologies give us unprecedented opportunities, creating environments and conditions that are not uniquely ethically resolved. (Bourgeois, 2014) For example, the ability to make accurate copies of digital music anonymously has prompted many music fans to download copyrighted music for their use without paying the music owner. Many of those who did not go to a music store and stole a CD found dozens of illegally downloaded albums.

Conducting these inspections is a relatively recent phenomenon, not only because of the desire of companies to protect themselves after many corporate scandals over the past few years, but also because technology has made it possible to collect, process, and access this data. Increasing the availability of mobile probe technology creates a paradigm shift for health research, creating new opportunities to measure and monitor behavior. (Nebeker et al., 2015) However, this increased security occurs with better surveillance. All security systems have inherent risks, i.e., the question of what risks are acceptable and what freedom is lost. The more ethical question is whether digital sharing is now a universal right. The cost of access hinders business growth, entrepreneurship, and self-expression.

However, as information technology grows, ethical and legal considerations gain similar importance. Here are the five most ethical and legal issues facing the industry. (5 Legal, n.d.)  For many people, their data has spread all over the digital world. Even inaccessible content, such as email or private accounts, can be accidentally accessed from sources. Many employers are actively testing the computer habits of their employees. Technology presents us with the newest security issues. Also, they must remember the ethical and professional symbols of a common language that distinguish health professions and IP, especially concerning the ethical principles of well-being, autonomy, fidelity, and justice. (Cellucci et al., 2011)

Validity is required if there is at least a large number of victims who agree that the responsibility is legitimate for postscripts. Furthermore, responsibility is not always a neutral and fully descriptive category, as it always involves a different understanding of the charges, defense, realities and rules, and a final decision. The final feature of responsibility, which seems important to note, is its formal nature. This is evident in the other issues discussed so far, but it is important to emphasize this once again. Unlike other concepts that translate the code, liability is a term that keeps the application of a particular set of terms open.

Classmate 2:

The following research articles emphasize different types of similarities in the aspect of ethical issues which arises in an Information Management System. All the research articles reported that the major issue in this regard is privacy.

Information technology (IT) contributed to the emergence of certain critical technologies. For example, electronic or e-health in the health sector. The use of this IT based technology in cloud based systems is required so as to achieve maximum potential benefits(Azee et al., 2019).

The aspect of IT security in an organization generally focuses on prevention of certain possible adverse impacts of the use of IT technology to the society. In general, the health programs of corporate sectors are designed in a manner that they consist of sensitive information that is collected, stored and utilized for various required purposes that allow the staff to handle the confidential health data securely that is procured by the organization (Andrisesu, D. R.,2010).

The Information System Management research furnishes a clear picture in the aspect of various ethical issues by providing a framework to resolve all the issues that are associated within the organization and further gives certain perspectives to the top level hierarchy of the organization to resolve them. The clear understanding of this research helps in acclaiming certain priority actions which can be employed within the organization(Manmohan et al., 2014).

Anjunwa et al., (2016)[4] concluded that only an international corporation has the capability to secure cyberspace for legal usage over the entire world. Further, they reported that the wellness programs have the capability to protect direct ethical quagmires which are involved in gathering the confidential personal health data from the employees of the health sector by upholding the existing rules of ethical values.

All the furnished research articles have raised a question that “Whether is it ethical to outlook the data that one is not obligated to while performing the duties of an IT employee?”. All the articles reflected the same data present in materials of Chapter-14. On par with the referred articles by me, I found that all the articles covered critical aspects of ethical issues which are associated with information management systems. The data cited in the articles furnishes complete detail about certain confidentiality and privacy concerns as one of the important ethical issues in IMS, that are reflected in the data furnished in Chapter-14.Further, I learn that IMS research provided a framework to all the related problems and provided certain critical organizational perspectives for the top level management.
