Applied Research Problem

As outlined in the Course Syllabus and discussed in the Unit 1 Seminar, you will be preparing a preliminary applied research proposal in this course and finalizing it in your capstone CJ/HM598 course.

Reflecting on what you have learned from this week's readings on choosing a research topic, click on the link below to sign up for one of the available topics in your field (CJ or HSEM) that will serve as the basis of the research proposal that you will prepare in this course. Selection of topics is on a first-come-first-serve basis; once you have selected your topic it cannot be changed in this course or the capstone. After selecting your topic (see below), you will locate and report on three original research studies published in peer-reviewed or journal sources (NO LAW REVIEW) that are focused on your applied topic.

Complete the following: Unit 1 Assignment 2: Applied Research Problem Form., (See Below, please answer below) A copy of your completed submission will be sent to your student email account. Save the copy of the form by clicking the Print icon in the upper-right-hand corner of the email and changing the Destination to "Save as PDF." Upload the saved form to the Unit 1 Assignment 2 Dropbox no later than Tuesday by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
