Guided Practice – Troubleshooting

You lost power in your house, and many of your items are no longer working. Your cable connecting your house to the pole also came down and needs to be reattached. You will first correct your cable network setup in this practice, so everything works in your house.

Identify the problem with each item. Establish a theory of probable cause, and test the theory to determine the cause. Establish a plan of action to resolve the problem and implement the solution. Task 2 – Trouble with DSL network

In this task, you will first correct your DSL network setup so everything works in your house. You lost power in your house, and many items are no longer working. Your DSL connecting your house to the pole also came down, and the phone company came out and reconnected the line, but it still is not working.
